Sun Country is honored to share that we have met all the AKC conditions that govern the granting of a Registered Kennel name. Sun Country Permanent Registered (Perm. Reg.). Proud member of The National Labrador Retriever Club, Inc., AKC Parent Club. The San Diego Labrador Retriever Club. The National Labrador Retriever Club, Inc. We were also members of the Labrador Retriever Club of Southern California, Inc. for several years. We attended all board meetings, donated time/money/Trophies, and happily volunteered our time for the Specialty and Play Matches!

  • Sun Country is a small hobby kennel since 1995.

  • The sole purpose is the Betterment of the Labrador breed and of course loving these wonderful creatures God has given us!

  • Most of our time is spent enjoying our Labradors as wonderful home companions.

  • Our puppies are brought up by us as members of the family, in our house and play area.

  • We take meticulous care of the health and well-being of these pups and do our very best to prepare them for their new lives. We do everything that we can to produce well socialized and outgoing pups.

  • All Labradors are OFA certified, Hips and Elbows. Eyes are registered with CERF annually. When there is a litter, puppies are yellow and black.

  • However, they are competitive in the conformation ring, along with obedience and very rewarding therapy work.

  • Sun Country Labradors are affectionately called *Free Range Labs* as they live with me – not in kennels – and are free to roam and play on 1 acre of land.

  • The goal at Sun Country is to produce quality working dogs with excellent temperament, soundness, intelligence and type for home companions and/or show prospects.

  • Sun Country screens potential puppy buyers very thoroughly and supports Limited Registration always striving for excellence!
